Annual Election Results

The Annual Meeting of the Las Palmas Ranch Master Association was concluded on October 15, 2020.  A quorum was reached with 127 homeowners returning ballots.  A summary of the election results are included below, with the full detailed election report available in the documents section of this website or by clicking here.
 
There were a total of 3 positions up for election this year.  Five (5) names were submitted in time to appear on the ballot.  The following were elected to the Board of Directors:
 
          Alejandro Hogan
          Stephen Hurst
          Brian Tumminelli
                
      
The minutes of the October 10, 2019 Annual Meeting and tax resolution were approved.
 
A BIG Thank you to Randy Radke and David Dalby who are stepping off the Board.  Your dedication and service to the community has been greatly appreciated.
 
The Board of Directors will be selecting officers at the November 12, 2020 Board of Directors meeting.
 
Thank you to all who participated in this year’s election.
 
Security Provider Change

After more than 10 years of service to Las Palmas Ranch, Uretsky Security ceased operations on April 1, 2020.  The Association has contracted with another company to provide security services to Las Palmas Ranch.  The new company, Allied Universal Security, began operations in Las Palmas on April 1, 2020.  They were able to bring on former Uretsky employees into the Allied family.  The security number is the same (831) 240-5447, and the same people are still here.  Only the actual company is different.  Thank you for your understanding and support during this transition period.
Board Adopts Resolution to Protect Private Property Rights

The Board of Directors of the Las Palmas Ranch Master Association adopted a resolution at its December 18, 2019 Board of Directors meeting which aims to protect the private property rights of Association Common Area and infrastructures.  A copy of Resolution 2019-01 is available here and is also in the documents section of this website.
Neighbor to Neighbor Fence Responsibility

In 2014 and new law went into effect in California which states that in most cases, the cost of boundary fence repair or replacement is shared 50/50.  California Civil Code 841, also known as the Good Neighbor Fence Act of 2013, requires that "adjoining landowners shall share equally in the responsibility for maintaining the boundaries and monuments between them."  The text of the law is attached here as a reference.
